The story of Vaibhav Mago* - first home can wait

Vaibhav came to Reliiance Financial Solutions when his family was just a year old in Australia. He had all the right aspirations of a new arrival i.e wanting to own his first home as soon as possible. With enough savings from his previous jobs, Vaibhav was very clear about where he wanted to buy his first home and how much he was willing to spend.

After understanding his situation, we thought that the first home may not be the right approach for him at the moment. It was a suggestion based on our experience and Vaibhav's earning abilities and financial situation. We suggested that he should invest in a property first, let that grow and create some more wealth for him while a new area in Sydney was being developed and would be ready over the next two years for his family to buy their first home there. It took some convincing but eventually Vaibhav saw the merit in our plan and was open-minded enough to completely change his thinking and agree to go with the strategy suggested by us.

A couple of years later, with other market forces also working in Vaibhav's favour, Vaibhav was able to buy his new home in the new area while his first investment property appreciated and gave him additional financial support - something he didn't have in mind at all when he first approached us.

Stories like this aren't just about what we at Reliiance Financial Solutions offer our clients, but also the ability of human beings to be flexible and allow new ideas to come in and possibly change their outlook to life.
